Vessel Specific Characteristics

The CMS Igid a Damen Shoalbuster 2709 is a modern seagoing twin screw tug / work boat for harbours, coastal and unrestricted waters. Each marine diesel engine drives a Cunial fixed pitch propeller in a nozzle through a reverse/ reduction gearbox. A hydraulic HS Marine AKC 185 / 18.5 HE4 crane is mounted on the aft deck at starboard side, with a 5.5 ton (metric) at 18.50 meter and 16.4 ton (metric) at 7,65 meter providing full crane capacity is available over the stern. The towing and anchor handling drums each have the capacity for 600 metres of 40 mm wire. Maximum deck load on centerline between frame 0 and 7 is 15 ton/m². Aft towing pins have a 65 ton capacity
